Terms and Conditions for NJBee Cleaning Services

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of cleaning services ("Services") by NJBee Cleaning Services ("the Company") to the client ("Client"). By booking our cleaning services, the Client agrees to these terms.

1. Services Provided
The Company provides a range of professional cleaning services tailored to meet the needs of each Client. These may include, but are not limited to:
• Regular domestic cleaning
• Deep cleaning
• End of tenancy cleaning
• One-off or ad hoc cleans
• Holiday let or short-term rental cleaning
• Move-in/move-out cleaning
• Custom packages based on Client requirements
A clear and detailed description of the services to be provided will be discussed and agreed with the Client prior to the scheduled service. This may include the number of rooms, specific tasks, frequency, and any special instructions or areas of concern.
The Company reserves the right to decline requests for tasks that fall outside of typical cleaning duties (e.g., heavy lifting, pest removal, or tasks requiring specialist equipment or licensing). Any changes to the agreed service must be communicated and confirmed in advance.

2. Booking and Payment
Services can be booked via phone, email, our website, or other agreed methods. Payment must be made in full at least 48 hours before the scheduled service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or payment through our online booking system.
If payment is not received within this time frame, the booking may be cancelled and the appointment slot offered to another client.
For regular clients, payment can be arranged in advance as a block booking or on an agreed schedule. Please contact us to discuss flexible payment options if needed.
In cases of late payment, a late fee may be applied at a rate of £10 per day after the due date, unless otherwise agreed. Continued failure to make payment may result in the suspension or termination of services and, if necessary, recovery action to collect the outstanding balance.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of our arrival will incur a full charge.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of our arrival will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund, provided payment has been made prior to the notice.

4. Access to Premises
The Client agrees to ensure that access to the property is available at the scheduled time of the clean. If we are unable to gain access for any reason, the full service fee will still apply and is non-refundable. If the property will be vacant, it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure a key has been provided or suitable arrangements for access have been made in advance.

5. Client Responsibilities
• The Client is responsible for ensuring that the areas to be cleaned are safe and free from hazards.
• Any valuable or fragile items should be properly secured by the Client before the cleaning service begins.
• The Client is responsible for tidying up before arrival, as our services are focused on cleaning rather than general housekeeping.

6. Liability
• The Company will take all reasonable care while performing cleaning services. However, the Company cannot be held liable for any damage to the Client's property unless such damage is a direct result of the Company's proven negligence. In the unlikely event that damage occurs, this will be reported to the Client immediately.
• The Company holds full insurance cover for any accidental damage caused during the course of our work. Should an incident occur, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the most appropriate resolution.

7. Confidentiality
• The Company agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or sensitive information obtained while performing the cleaning services.
• Keys taken away are securely locked in a key vault to which only the Company has access.

8. Termination
• Either party may terminate this agreement by providing a minimum of 7 days’ written notice, acceptable via email, text, or letter.
• In the event of termination, the Client remains responsible for any outstanding payments for services already rendered up to the termination date.
• The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the Client breaches any of the agreed terms and conditions, including but not limited to failure to provide access to the property, inappropriate or unsafe working conditions, or repeated late payments.
• Any pre-paid services not yet delivered at the time of termination may be refunded at the Company’s discretion, subject to a fair assessment of costs incurred.

9. Amendments
The Company may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be shared with the Client before any future services take place. By continuing to use our services, the Client agrees to the updated Terms.
